Located in the serene village of Lazarat, just 3 km from Gjirokastra, this hands-on workshop offers a unique experience that combines art, history, and creativity.
What You’ll Experience
1. Hands-On Wood Carving and Icon Painting
• Learn by Doing: Master the essentials of wood carving, from choosing the right type of wood to using specialized tools to create detailed designs.
• Icon Creation: Paint a religious icon using traditional Byzantine techniques, starting with basic symbols suitable for beginners.
