Join Lori and her family for an authentic cooking experience in the village of Lazarat. In their welcoming garden kitchen, you will learn how to prepare traditional Albanian dishes while enjoying the warmth of local hospitality and family traditions.
During this hands-on experience, Lori will share recipes passed down from her grandmother and guide you through the preparation of several traditional dishes.
What will you cook:
Petanik – A traditional Albanian dish made with flour, cheese, olive oil, and herbs, slowly cooked over a natural fire.
Stuffed Petulla – Crispy fried dough filled with vegetables, olives, and cheese, a beloved rural recipe.
Hasude – A classic Albanian dessert made with butter, cornstarch, sugar, honey, and nuts.
You will also experience the traditional process of churning dhalla, where milk is mixed in a wooden churn until butter separates from the buttermilk—an old village tradition.

Before leaving, you can visit Lori’s small garden stand where local products such as olive oil, honey, nuts, and dried fruits are available.

4+ people: €36 per person

Reservation required at least 1 day in advance.
Included: cooking guidance, ingredients, salads, traditional yogurt drink (dhalla), and raki.
