The Libohova Ensemble was created in 2023 by Arjola Dhjamandi, a craftswoman from the Libohova region. Recognizing the talent and enthusiasm of children to participate in the cultural activities of the area, the foundation of the youth ensemble was laid.

This ensemble emerged as a cultural initiative to preserve, promote, and pass down the folkloric values of the region, including traditional dances and songs from Libohova and the surrounding area.

The ensemble\'s repertoire features unique sung dances characteristic of the mountainous region, accompanied by traditional handmade costumes embroidered and passed down through generations.

The ensemble has participated in numerous national and international folk festivals, standing out with its authentic performances and the vocal harmony of its polyphonic songs.

Thanks to the dedication of amateur and professional artists from the region, the ensemble has kept alive the community’s connection to its cultural heritage and serves as a school for young generations eager to learn the folk arts.

Today, the ensemble is composed of a youth group with 21 members and a children’s group with 50 kids. Work continues with a team of professionals to educate the younger generation in preserving Libohova’s cultural identity and in understanding the importance of ethnographic heritage.
