FOLK GROUP OF QIRADHE, SELO
If you happen to visit the village of Selo, in the upper Dropull of Gjirokastra, you will find there a cultural treasure fanatically preserved by the ladies of this village.
These are the polyphonic songs of the homeland, weddings or heroes sung by the polyphonic group “I Qiradhes”, created since 1987 that still today conveys the history, culture and tradition of this community. The women have been part of national and international festivals where they have performed wearing the traditional costume sewn by their hands, where they have been honored with numerous awards
